The Orthopaedic Trauma Service provides expert care for patients with severe musculoskeletal injuries
and has consistently offered one of the nation's top fellowships in orthopaedic trauma for the past twenty years.

The Orthopaedic Trauma Service consists of seven fellowship-trained orthopaedic traumatologists, providing all of the orthopaedic emergency room coverage at St. Joseph's Hospital and Tampa General Hospital, the only Level 1 trauma center in West Central Florida. The Orthopaedic Trauma Service specializes in the care of fractures and fracture-related problems, such as nonunions, malunions, post-traumatic arthritis, deformity correction, infections, pelvis/hip reconstruction, and foot/ankle reconstruction.
